The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2009 has come and gone. To the uninitiated FW is a flurry of running around, pre-parties, shows, running around, and after-parties. Then wake up, nurse a fashion overload hangover and repeat. But amid fashion tempest, the one beacon of calm fashion bliss was the experience of viewing the Carolina Herrera show from the Amex Cardmember Only Skybox in Bryant Park. Carolina Herrera and AMEX created the perfect symphony for the collection and the viewing experience. Carolina Herrera's collection was punctuated by Jewel-toned, polished looks in richly textured fabrics. The looks are very polished and buttoned-up. The AmEx space on the other hand was designed by Top Design's Jonathan Adler and hosted by stylist Kate Nobelius. Truly a spectacular combo.
