With the ink barely dry on her new contract with Lancôme, Dominican modeling phenom Arlenis Sosa continues to rack up acclaim. Only in the biz since April, the 19-year-old made her grand entrée into the editorial world as one of the lucky few catwalkers cast for Italian Vogue’s historic all-black issue and can already count Anna Wintour and makeup artist Pat McGrath as fans. Yesterday, she officially added muse to her growing list of attributes, opening and closing the Oscar de la Renta show. Backstage, where she was something of a celebrity in a room full of top models, we had a chance to catch up with the beauty about her whirlwind ride on the fame train. read on
